John Arne Semundseth Riise (born 24 September 1980 in Ålesund)-car- is a Norwegian footballer who plays for Roma in the Italian Serie A. He is the older brother of Bjørn Helge Riise, and more famously played for Liverpool FC. He is renowned for his runs forward and thunderous long shots.
