Volkswagen up new city car will further enliven the city with car competition BlueMotion technology, 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol, 59bhp engine and cost about £ 8970 with very charming and inexpensive for the size of a super city car.  A further £360 buys the BlueMotion Technology Take Up, which includes a stop-start system to enhance fuel economy from the standard engine’s 62.7mpg to 67.2mpg. Emissions are also reduced from 105g km CO2 to 97g/km CO2, making the car exempt from road tax and the London Congestion Charge.

Top spec High Up versions are priced from £10,390 and come equipped with the more powerful 74bhp engine. Features of the High Up include heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, electric and heated door mirrors and VW’s ‘Maps and More infotainment’ device. Externally, the High Up gets front fog lights and 15-inch alloys.
